Kyle is located south of Austin and shares a border with the thriving community of Buda. Although the two have been spoken of together for many years both Kyle and Buda are each incorporated cities. Kyle and Buda have each shared in the growth and it is hard to tell where one city limit starts and the other ends. Hays Consolidated Independent School District serves a wide population of students in a large geographical area. The Hays ISD includes many small towns and new home developments as well as a large rural student population. Prospective buyers and residents should contact the district to determine where neighborhood boundaries are located and local school information.
